I admired the site, the images that are part of it, and the presenting of names probably forgotten by many, except for families, and personnel assigned to the units. I recall Desert One April 1980, the aborted rescue attempt to free American hostages held in Tehran, Iran at the former United States Embassy, it was an ordeal lasting 444 days. The sacrifices are not forgotten in my books and memory, I am not aware of any monument in their memory, and not sure if the illegitimate government in Tehran ever returned them to their families for proper military honors and a day of national rememberance from order the Commander in Chief of our Armed Forces: United States President James Earl Carter.

James thank you I agree with you that these men need to be honored. I would love to read some of your books. Where can I find some of your stuff.
